Southwest Florida Performing Arts Center

The Southwest Florida Performing Arts Center was designed to offer a unique venue and facility that included a world-class theater, a 5-star culinary kitchen, and a modern event space. The center has a goal of matching the flavor of Bonita Springs Florida by offering a diverse lineup of musical performances and live shows from international, national, and locally recognized artists and performers.

Because of its focus on high-quality entertainment, it has become the ideal venue for hosting incredible events, both public and private, with a space that’s neither too big to be intimate nor too small for extravagant productions.

But there was a time early in the center’s existence when Florida residents were confused about the venue’s name.

When it first opened, it shared a similar name with the Center for the Performing Arts, Bonita Springs. Both venues would routinely have guests and customers call or show up to shows hosted by the other venue. But staff and owners from both venues worked together to help guide customers and differentiate themselves with different fonts for advertising as well as two very different cultures.

While the Center for the Performing Arts held performance arts classes and favored resident theater and improve-comedy troupes and weekly foreign film series and annual film festivals, the Southwest Florida PAC was laser-focused on providing high-quality entertainment, five-star dining from the kitchen staff, as well as the atmosphere needed for an unforgettable dinner and show experience.

After its June opening, the Southwest Florida PAC put their name on the map by offering popular acts from performers including Judy Collins, Adelita’s Way, and comedy acts from Jerry Lewis and Jackie Mason.

The venue even held a month-long tribute band series featuring Chicago tribute Solid Brass. The venue works hard to book the biggest upcoming acts because they want their shows to be the biggest things to come to the Bonita Springs horizon.

Now, everyone in Bonita Springs and fans of live entertainment and five-star dining knows that you can expect great food and events at the Southwest Florida Performing Arts Center.
